Grand Canyon Music Festival, which performs and interprets classical
music in this unique place.

Flagstaff: Landscape and Culture
The strength, beauty, and natural wonder of the Grand Canyon demand
that only the best music be performed at its annual music festival.
Join world-renowned musicians for 2 nights of primarily chamber
music-- baroque to contemporary. Enjoy lectures by musicians and 2
inspiring concerts. Discover the Canyon's majesty during guided
walks along the rim and through lectures from local experts. In
Flagstaff, gateway to the Canyon and border town to the Navajo and
Hopi Reservations, explore Native American culture and archaeology.
Enjoy field trips to pre-historic cliff dwellings at Walnut Canyon
National Monument and the
Museum of
Northern Arizona. Spend a whole day in Sedona, traveling through
beautiful Oak Creek Canyon, and explore its crimson landscapes and
abundant galleries.
This year will mark the 23rd season of
the Grand Canyon Music Festival. Program requires ability to walk up
to one mile, longer hiking options available.
