Snapshot
Sedona and Grand Canyon for the Holidays

# 15053

Detailed itinerary, dates & price

Synopsis
Enjoy the ambiance of one of Sedona's most noted resorts as you discover two great American treasures - Sedona  and the Grand Canyon. With towering red rock spires, the glistening waters and vertical cliffs of Oak Creek Canyon and its mystical aura, Sedona's reputation as one of America's most beautiful places is richly deserved. Discover fascinating human and natural history as you savor its mix of pioneer and artistic spirit. Sedona is located 120 miles north of Phoenix; commercial shuttle available from Phoenix airport.

Course Description
Discover Sedona's festive, holiday spirit and enjoy a full day guided journey to the Grand Canyon. Stroll the flower strewn streets of the Mexican style arts and crafts village of Tlaquepaque, where musical entertainment, dancers, and over 6,000 luminaries grace the cobblestone paths for its ‘Festival of Lights’. At nightfall, enjoy the 18th year of Sedona's ‘Red Rock Fantasy’ with its millions of holiday lights and festive cheer. Your Grand Canyon immersion includes a geology presentation and a full day journey through beautiful Oak Creek Canyon, scenic views at Desert View Watchtower, and time to hike along the Canyon’s South Rim and visit historic Grand Canyon Village. End your Sedona experience with a Hopi woman’s story of inspiration.

Accommodations
Resort setting on the banks of Oak Creek with sweeping views of red rock surroundings, tennis courts, golf course, swimming pool/spa. Central Sedona location nearby to hiking trails, art galleries, and the famed “Church in The Rocks.” All meals included.
