Synopsis
Welcome to one of the most exotic collaboration of humanity and nature, Lake Powell.  Stretching from Northern Arizona to Southern Utah, its aquamarine waters occupy miles of rust colored canyons that once stood alone.  The exquisite colors, magnificent
shapes, and incomparable beauty make it a must see.  More than just a body of water, it is a marina of geology, natural history, Native American culture, and modern engineering.  Created by wind, water and time, Lake Powell straddles the Arizona/Utah border, filling most of Glen Canyon. Longtime home to Native Americans, a formidable barrier to early explorers and settlers, the canyon is now a source of life-giving water. The town of Page, el. 4300', is situated on a mesa overlooking   the lake.
