"Drown
yourself in a sea of adjectives and still you’ll be speechless.
As you approach from any direction, the desert opens her
arms and beckons to an unparallel anatomy. From where you stand,
breathless, to the obvious curve of the earth’s horizon, stretches
a wonderland of imposing red rock statues.
The elusive and mythical coyote runs beneath their shadows
as a pair of golden eagles fly above.
It is a dreamtime of sunsets and moonrises amidst an uninterrupted
and faultless sky."

Synopsis
Monument
Valley is the heartland of the Dine (Navajo) and its sculptured
monoliths define the beauty of the southwestern landscape. Hidden masterfully
behind mesas are sheep camps and hogans where elders still practice
traditional beliefs. More
prevalent, however, are the artists, teachers, tour guides, and
leaders of this community who help bridge the gap of time and culture.
A culture that is as ephemeral and intricate as the desert itself.
Become absorbed into this landscape as you stay in the heart of
Monument Valley at the historic
Goulding's Lodge where the sunrise
greets every guest from their private balcony.
