BSBA in Management

Pima Community College and
Northern Arizona University's College of Business Administration

have joined in partnership to offer a two plus two management degree in Tucson
on the Pima West Campus.

Students complete the Associate of Business Degree from Pima CC
and then their upper division coursework with NAU in Tucson.

Why NAU?

Admission Requirements:

• Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA

• Minimum 2.50 GPA in English, math & lower division business courses*

• Minimum grade of "C" in English, math & lower division business courses*

• Minimum of 56 credit hours

*WRT, 101/102, MAT 173/174, ACC 101/102, BUS 205 and 220, CIS 100, ECN 201/202

[NOTE: MAT 151 or 142 may be substituted for 174 when also taken with PHI 120. MAT 172 may be substituted for 173.] All courses must be completed prior to starting the BSBA program.

• plus 4 electives (may use any non-business courses, MGT 408--Business Internship, or ACC 305--Business Law II)

* Students will also need to complete NAU ethnic diversity and global awareness requirements. PCC courses which meet the NAU requirements are: Global: ANT 102, 110, 112, 210, 215; ARC 110; HIS 160, 161. Ethnic: AIS 101; ANT 148; HIS 148, SOC 201; WST 100. Students without AGEC may also need to complete NAU liberal studies requirements.

NOTE: Most courses are currently available only fall or spring semester, so the sequence of courses is imperative to successfully completing the program in a timely manner.

1. Admission into NAU:

• Complete the admissions application at www.nau.edu, click on:

• “Apply Online” then

• “Undergraduate Students,” followed by

• “Online Application” —follow the directions, cost $25.
   

•  Request official copies of your transcripts from Pima (and all other colleges attended) be sent to:

         Applications will not be processed until these are received.
 

2. Admission requirements for Business Professional Program (BPP). Completion of the Associate of Business Transfer Degree is highly recommended. See minimum requirements above.

Upon notice of admission (“Offer of Admissions” letter or call):

•  Set up your student email account online

•  Go to www.franke.nau.edu, then click on:

• “Student Resources”

• “Forms”

• “Application for the Business Professional Program”

• Login using your student login ID and password

• Complete the application for the “management” major in Tucson

Fax an unofficial copy of transcripts to 928-523-6559 (or bring a copy to Dr. Pielstick in Tucson)

You will be notified by email of your admission or any deficiencies.

3. Meet with an NAU business program advisor: Advisors will provide students with a list of required courses or general guidance for elective courses. Students may then enroll online through the NAU LOUIE system.
